A decade on the blockchain by steevc@steevc

Happy 10th Hive Anniversary, Steve! 🍻
Hive is definitely more than just a blockchain, a token, or a code... I'm clearly remembering my first HiveFest in Amsterdam, and I'm glad that I met you there along with other Hivians! It was my first Hive meetup, a bit weird and uncomfortable for an introvert, but I enjoyed... Remember the last dinner when we were sitting at the same table, chatting, wishing the event would never end.
For many decades together! See you at some future meetup! 🍻

Quick rainy day meal by melinda010100@melinda010100

I loved reading that you often grill in the summer—it sounds great. As you know, we live in an eternal summer here, so we don't change up our routines much—or at least those of us who don't cook very often, like me 😅 I’ve actually been making shrimp since last month; I’d never cooked them before, so these tips are perfect for me, since I do spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I’ll try cooking them quickly and adding a sauce like this sometime this week.

That’s wonderful Isa! I always admire everything you do; seeing you work on video adds an extra layer of emotion. I love the love you put into every detail, you work from the heart, and that is the personal signature of everything you share with the world. Thank you for this; sending you a big hug and best wishes for an excellent week!

Historia: Los ojos de Juan. (Esp/Eng) by marydeluz@marydeluz

image.png

I can assure you that a shiver ran down my spine when I read the ending; the endings of your stories always have a profound effect on me. But beyond what the story implies, cats have something truly special about them. Here, it seems as though Juan continues to live through and within the cat, as if he had taken its soul. Even so, cats understand this world and the next, and they help souls, they always do.
Your story is short but beautiful, one of those that’s worth reading just to leave you chilled to the bone and deep in thought.

SQUARES - (PHOTOGRAPHY SERIES) by jlinaresp@jlinaresp

It’s a style of photography I’ve never tried myself, but it looks brilliant, especially in black and white, which evokes memories and a sense of nostalgia. The quality of your work is always impeccable, particularly in street photography, where you show us scenes from people’s lives and everyday life in the village, as if you’d paused time for a moment to capture those precise instants.
I absolutely loved the street photographs this time, with their sense of perspective, criss-crossed cables, and motorbikes, lorries, people and the mist in the background taking centre stage.

El vínculo / The bond by enraizar@enraizar

Your story is perfect for the community, because it really makes you think. If I take it in a tragic sense, the cat or cats foreshadowed bad things for the elderly women who adopted them, but my gut feeling tells me this: those kittens filled those elderly women’s final days with joy, peace and love. They knew the women would die and wanted to give them pure joy and make them feel unique in the world, so that they might die happily. I hope that’s the meaning you’ve taken from it, and if not… as literature is open to interpretation, I’d love to hear your take on it.
I absolutely loved the story; cats have always brought me immense happiness, more than anyone could ever imagine.
