Hola, comunidad de vocalistas., instrumentistas, compositores, arreglistas y amantes de la música en general. Llega a su ronda #19 reste fantástico concurso creado por lordbutterflyHive account@lordbutterfly, concurso que, por sus características y novedades ha impactado positivamente a nuestra red social.

Deseo participar como percusionista que soy en el acompañamiento de una vieja canción: "Cuando llora un hombre" del Sexteto Juventud. Esta canción se popularizó en Venezuela el año de su lanzamiento que fue en 1970.
Formo parte del álbum "La Juventud se impone"

En aquella época imperaba la idea de que el hombre no debía llorar. De hecho, rompía en llanto un niño de 2 ó 3 años y enseguida no faltaba quien le dijera "¡Los hombres no lloran!"

La única concesión en ese aspecto para el sexo masculino era en el caso que muriera su madre.

Ahora han cambiado muchas cosas, unas para bien y otras para mal. Entre las que han cambiado para bien se encuentra la de reconocer y aceptar sueños hombres tenemos sentimientos y emociones y también el derecho de expresarlo.

Llorar es importante. No sólo es señal de que algo está mal, es también una forma de drenar, desahogarse. El efecto que tiene en el espectador es el deseo de ayudar, de consolar al que llora. El que ve el llanto se siente constreñido a brindar su apoyo. Y todo esto es importante para poder superar lo negativo y seguir adelante./center>

Hay una antigua poesía española que toca ese tema también. Se trata del poema "El gaitero de Gijón".de Ramón de Campoamor. En la misma, un músico, intérprete de la gaita, es contratado para tocar en un baile, baile que coincide con la fecha del entierro de su madre, y sus primeras líneas dicen:

Ya se está el baile arreglando.
Y el gaitero ¿Dónde está?
-Está a su madre enterrando,
pero en seguida vendrá,
-Y ¿vendrá?- Pues ¿Qué ha de hacer?
Cumpliendo con su deber
vedle con la gaita... pero
¡cómo traerá el corazón
el gaitero,
el gaitero de Gijón!

II
¡Pobre! Al pensar que en su casa
toda dicha se ha perdido,
un llanto oculto le abrasa,
que es cual plomo derretido."

Hello, community of vocalists, instrumentalists, composers, arrangers and music lovers in general. Reaches its round #19 this fantastic contest created by lordbutterflyHive account@lordbutterfly, contest that, by its characteristics and novelties has positively impacted our social network.

I wish to participate as the percussionist that I am in the accompaniment of an old song: “Cuando llora un hombre” by Sexteto Juventud. This song became popular in Venezuela the year of its release which was in 1970.
It was part of the album “La Juventud se impone”

At that time the idea prevailed that man should not cry. In fact, a child of 2 or 3 years old would burst into tears and immediately someone would tell him “Men don't cry!”

The only concession in this respect for the male sex was in the case of the death of his mother.

Now many things have changed, some for the better and some for the worse. Among those that have changed for the better is to recognize and accept that men have feelings and emotions and also the right to express them.

Crying is important. Not only is it a sign that something is wrong, it is also a way to drain, to vent. The effect it has on the viewer is the desire to help, to comfort the one crying. The one who sees the crying feels constrained to offer support. And all this is important in order to be able to overcome the negative and move on.

There is an old Spanish poem that touches on this theme as well. It is the poem “El gaitero de Gijón” by Ramón de Campoamor. In it, a musician, a bagpipe player, is hired to play at a dance, a dance that coincides with the date of his mother's burial, and its opening lines read:

The dance is already being arranged.
And the piper, where is he?
-He's burying his mother,
but he'll be here soon,
-And will he come? -Well, what will he do?
Fulfilling his duty
see him with the bagpipes... but
how the piper will bring his heart
the piper,
the piper of Gijon!

II
Poor fellow! To think that in his house
all joy is lost,
a hidden weeping burns him,
which is like melted lead.”
