"I sigh and sit down on the edge, crossing my feet at the ankles, tapping against the brutalist concrete. Music blaring. Track three. Hardwired... to Self-Destruct. A common theme of me and the others I know like me, is that we know we’re hardwired wrong. We’ve always felt it. A couple have let themselves self-destruct. The problem with that kind of ending is that you can never ask them if it was the best ending possible. "
