Making wigs from used attachment
Hi Hivers
Hope y'all had a great day....
I did an experiment today and decided to show the results here ๐
Sometime last month, I was going through TikTok and saw a video of a girl turning used attachment to wigs and I decided to try it out.
Here's the requirements, process and the result.
Requirements
1, Used attachment
2, Bendable rollers or hair rod
3, crochet pin
4, Hair net
5, scissors
6, Hair conditioner
7, hot water
8, Dummy head (Mannequin head)
The process
Step 1, Loose the attachment, wash in clean water with shampoo and let it dry.
Step 2, Roll the attachment on the hair rod.
Step 3, put in a bowl and pour in hair conditioner and hot water.
Step 4, Remove the attachment from the hot water, allow to dry and remove it from the hair rod.
Step 5, Place the hair net on the dummy head (I didn't have dummy head or funds to get one so I used a plastic bucket ๐) pass the crochet pin between two (or more) holes on the net, use the pin to pass the attachment and bring them out through the holes.
Step 6, continue passing the attachments through the holes.
7, check for loop holes and cover them.
8, Trim the edges to your satisfaction with scissors.
9, Oil it and you're good to go.
The result โค๏ธ
Ps, I'm not a hair stylist so questions and corrections are welcomed.
Thanks for visiting, hope you try this out someday ๐
