Lower mining fees
Consolidate inputs cheap on Sunday (this could reduce privacy)
Use lightning/liquid for small amounts.
Use segwit native bech32 (starts bc1)
Use a fee estimator. Don't go for next block if you can wait. Over paying fees creates an expensive feedback loop.
use a low fee, then RBF ( raise by fee) or cpfp (child pays for parent) to increase the fee if it's too slow. Electrum and core has rbf. Almost any wallet can do cpfp (0 conf spend required).
