JUST LIKE THAT. LOH #291
There was this particular video saw where they used a magnet from a speaker to create electricity. Here's how it worked; after collecting the speaker, they wound a strip of copper wire around it creating a coil. Then they connected four spark plugs and somehow it was able to produce enough electricity to power a light bulb.
After watching the video several times, I thought to myself, "I can actually do this". And if I was able to make it work, I had already thought of how I would monitize it.
In my country Nigeria, power is still a challenge and people that have access to it are living lives differently. The people that actually have access to uninterrupted power are the majority and they have to have more than one source, at least two.
Me seeing the potential of producing power with a couple of everyday things, I thought to make it into a power bank that can be sold cheaper than thr ones that use lithium batteries, or so I thought. With that thought and excitement, I used some money from my savings and bought a couple of spark plugs (they were not cheap), some length of wire, and some magnets from a repair shop and went to work with the video as my guide.
After setting everything up as I saw in the video, it was not time for the moment of truth. I connected the light bulb and voilà! It didn't work. I thought I did something wrong and tried to set it up again but I got the same result. I watched the video again and again to see where I got it wrong but I couldn't find it, so I gave up.
It was after a few days that I decided to ask a chat bot about it and I found out that the fault was mine. But the most important part was that there was no way such a device could charge a phone sustainability.
There went my money and my hopes of making money out of something I should have just viewed a d moved on.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. See you soon. 🤗
peace out ✌️
