Receiving Ancient Wisdom
Gliding over a fallen redwood she lands knees bent, eyes low, fingertips grazing the Earth.
The air is still; Trees sink deep into the ground.
She bows humbly, turning to face the fallen One,
Her hands carefully immerse into layers of decaying Bark
She begins to sing the Ancient songs.
