Wednesday ☀️ 10349

This morning I felt somehow more energetic than yesterday. It was crisp with light cloud cover. Later on, it was supposed to turn dark gray and rainy. I went for a nice interval-walking route through the palace gardens. During my detour across Luiseninsel, I naturally visited the old alder tree on the shore and took a moment to breathe with it, and then greeted the royal bust, which was very sparsely decorated today. As I’d planned, today it was time to check out the four western attic figures on the palace roof. Of course, I brought them back for you, along with the golden Fortuna, who had her back turned to me today. She could face the other way if the wind were to change, since she’s mounted like a weather vane.

Heute Morgen fühlte ich mich irgendwie fitter als gestern. Es war frisch mit leichter Bewölkung. Später sollte es dann dunkelgrau und regnerisch werden. Ich bin eine schöne Runde im Intervall-Walking durch den Schlosspark gegangen. Beim Abstecher über die Luiseninsel habe ich natürlich die alte Erle am Ufer besucht und mit ihr ein Weilchen geatmet und danach die heute sehr spärlich dekorierte königliche Büste gegrüsst. Wie ich mir vorgenommen hatte, waren dann heute die vier westlichen Attikafiguren auf dem Schloss fällig. Die habe ich euch natürlich, zusammen mit der goldenen Fortuna, die mir heute ihren Hintern zugekehrt hatte, mitgebracht. Sie könnte auch anders, wenn der Wind es wollte, denn sie ist gelagert wie eine Wetterfahne.
