The mornings are still warm; it’s summer, and the days are very warm to hot. I went for my usual interval-walking loop around the peninsula early this morning and was back home before the plumbers shut off the water in our building to work on the main pipe. I managed to get everything done that usually requires water before the water was shut off. Then, in the morning, I set off on my bike for a leisurely ride through the Schleusenland and, in stark contrast to that, through the industrial area all the way to Spandau, where I picked up a few smart-home gadgets at that well-known Swedish store. And yeah, I managed to get in and out of there without buying any of that nonsense I didn’t want or need—yeah. I discovered the big pagoda and the garden of a Buddhist community right next door and snapped a few shots through the fence before heading back through the industrial area and then snacking on some wild cherries and blackberries by the wayside in the Schleusenland. So, now everyone go look at the Buddha, take a deep breath, and as you exhale, say OMMMMMMMM 🪷🧘🏾🪷

Die Morgenenden bleiben warm, es ist Sommer und die Tage sehr warm bis heiß. Bin heute früh die Halbinsel-Runde im Interval-Walking gegangen und war zuhause, bevor die Handwerker bei uns im Haus das Wasser abgestellt haben, um da irgendwas am Hauptrohr zu machen. Hat alles geklappt mit allem, was man so macht, wozu man Wasser braucht, vor der Wassersperre. Bin am Vormittag dann mit dem Rad los auf eine gemütliche Tour durch das Schleusenland und weiter im totalen Kontrast dazu durchs Industriegebiet bis nach Spandau und hab mir bei den bekannten Schweden ein paar Smart-Home-Spielzeuge besorgt. Und ja, ich hab es da rein und wieder raus geschafft, ohne irgendwelchen Schnickschnack zu kaufen, den ich gar nicht wollte oder brauche, yeah. Habe dort nebenan die große Pagode und den Garten einer buddhistischen Gemeinschaft entdeckt und ein paar Schüsse durch den Zaun gemacht, bevor ich wieder durchs Industriegebiet zurück bin und im Schleusenland dann ein paar Snacks in Form von Wildkirschen und Brombeeren am Wegesrand gefuttert hab. So und jetzt alle den Buddha anschauen, ordentlich einatmen und beim Ausatmen dann OMMMMMMMM 🪷🧘🏾🪷
