Todays milestone
Today I reached this. 200,000 POB (combined).
96 days ago, on AUG-8th I entered the 6 digit area, with 100000+ POB tokens.
At that distant time, I had a rather small hope to double (?) my POB stake by Christmas time.
But a consistent, daily hard work proved, once again, that those far far goals might sometimes be not so far.
I am grateful to all of YOU who keep selling your tokens to me.
And they keep doing that at incredibly low prices.
0.125 HIVE (or $0.10) per one POB is the price, which I simply can not pass. No way I can miss this.
Far away are gone those days, when I was paying 1.5 Hive, 1.8 HIVE per POB, even more. And those days I was buying hundreds, sometimes thousands of POB per day, buying them all at those high prices.
Do I regret?
No way. Because I noticed this token too late, and buying high was the ONLY way to catch up.
Today I can relax, and even 300-400 daily POB purchased on the open market - keeps the difference from the leader shrinking at a steady pace.
Do you think POB could ever go over 1.2 Hive without my madness?
Those who do not agree - go and crunch the numbers, everything is on a blockchain.
Database can prove my words, just take your time.
How much this 200K stake brings in curations?
My calculations show that on average it brings just a bit over 1000 POB per day.
That is total, to be split 50:50 at the payout day.
One single 100% upvote at 100% depletion, today is 112 POB
500 POB per day for curation on one tribe alone, is probably not that bad?
Even at $0.05 (And I highly doubt POB will ever drop below 5 cents for a prolonged times) this would equal to $25 per day, or $750 per month. Definitely more than my retirement pension. 😀
Don't worry, I am not selling.
At least - not in a large amounts (exploring huge buy-sell price margins does not count, no big amounts ever get sold)
Compounding
I know well the sweet taste of compounding effect, each staked token brings tomorrow's curation rewards even higher.
Not quite DE-FI yield farming APY's, but smth not so far away.
Is this risky? Sure it is. So is all DEFI.
My risk acceptance level went much higher since I found crypto.
Adrenaline has a good taste. :)
