Spliterlands Quest Potions question for community!

As someone with a decent supply of Spliterlands quest potions, it seems that ever since the packs sold out it has been extremely rare to get back anything close to what the quest potions cost right now (750 DEC). More often my daily quest reward of ~10 chests results in 2-3 potion legendary/gold foil potions and 75-100 DEC total. Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to do daily quests and opt out of using the quest potions if you already own them. It seems like a waste to use up the potions at this time, but it also seems crappy to have to wait 4-6 weeks for when they release the new packs to do any more quests. Anyone know if there is a way to temporarily disable potion use?
