THANK YOU PRAYER

To the lover of my soul
That sits up on high
And never rides on me
Though I am below

The supreme heart of love
Who was not envious of us
To have given me His likeness
Ignoring my weakness

The father of my creation
Providing for my recreation
Putting my earthly ambition
Much more into consideration

Once I became prodigal
To my lust,I wandered
Making you to ponder
What a misplaced wonder

To my senses I came
As if it were a game
Later to your feet I laid
And you never made me lame

I praise your holiness
Not forgetting your kindness
To have saved me from bitterness
To no emptiness.
