😤 This is ridiculous!

Do you play Splinterlands? I do – and have been for a very long time. (to give you an idea: I was buying "Steem Monsters" cards even before the game was ready – that’s the kind of OG I am, hehe 🤭). And that’s why I kept considering myself a Hive blockchain user in the past three years, even though I wasn’t posting anything. I still used the blockchain pretty much on a weekly basis to participate in guild brawls in Splinterlands and to claim resources from my six plots of land (I'm in Region 096, Afrijan, in case you want to stop by and say hi 😉).

Another long-time player and a good friend of mine (@pardinus ) told me about Conclave Anclava set of cards a few weeks before the pre-sale and of course I had to FOMO into it like a Furious Chicken. 😂

I bought two Alchemica packs and three ordinary ones and I was lucky enough to score a few epic gold-foil cards from them. The first day of playing with the new set was very frustrating, 😓 as I was learning the new mechanics and getting to know the new cards and their abilities. But by the second day I got a hang of it and began to really enjoy the gameplay.

…until I had this epic battle that ended in a big surprise! 🙊

My friends and I had a good laugh about it and now I’m feeling even determined to grind my way up at least to the Silver league this season! 💪🚀
