An Introduction
Elegy of the Ephemeral
"The Departure"
When death arrives, don't fret, don't fear the night,
For others will care, as day turns to gray.
They'll clothe you pure in linen, shining white,
And wash away the cares of mortal fray.
From home, they'll bear you to your final rest,
A grave, a quiet place, where shadows play.
They'll come, both known and strangers, to attest,
Their parting words, though you've now slipped away.
Belongings, once cherished, shall find new kin,
Your role in life, another will embrace.
Wealth passes on, a circle without end,
In judgment's light, you'll stand in Eledumare's own grace.
So, let these truths your earthly fears assuage,
For in eternity begins your true stage.
