Hello Music Lovers, It is a privilege to welcome you all to a new week of open mic(week218), may the lord bless the week(amen).
My entry for this week, which is an hymnal song "there is not a friend like the lowly Jesus" expresses the idea that Jesus is a unique and precious friend, who is always present and available to provide comfort, support, and guidance.
The phrase "lowly Jesus" refers to Jesus' humility and willingness to identify with the poor, the marginalized, and the oppressed. It highlights his compassion, kindness, and love for all people, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Also, it is often interpreted to mean that Jesus is:
