Monomad challenge - BW - Long eared owls
I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW - Long eared owls
The main daytime sleepers in the town square are also the main nocturnal predators. From the end of September until April, they regulate the number of different rodents they feed on. The easiest way to find them without hurting your neck is to look at the ground and not up. It is on the ground that you can find the remains of these rodents and excrements. They are very calm and do not pay special attention to people. They are aggressive only if they feel a threat to their young. Hundreds of these birds are found on several trees in the town square. In the beginning, they prefer to choose deciduous trees, and only after the leaves fall, they switch to evergreens.
