Monomad challenge - BW - city cats
I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW - city cats
Natural predators are drawn to the city square because of the significant number of sparrows in an area with low shrubby vegetation. This sort of vegetation offers them a certain amount of safety because they can fly fast into thick branches and squeeze through a tight area. Cats are the primary predators of this particular kind of tiny bird. There are a lot of cats kept as pets in these parts, and occasionally some of them wind up on the city's streets.
Street cats are continually searching for some sort of prey, even though many people feed them. They have a natural urge to seize their prey. This cat went into hunting mode as soon as it saw birds eating bread crumbs and hurried to a neighboring tree in an attempt to catch its meal. Luckily for the sparrow, she failed.
They particularly enjoy lounging in the sun when they are full.
They move stealthily, believing no one is watching.
Or they simply socialize with other cats.
