Don't invest in it.

Hello, everyone.

I welcome you to my blog. Over the years I have been able to learn a lot of lessons. Some of these lessons I learnt the hard way; some I did not have to learn the hard way because I was paying close attention and followed the advice from people I asked. One of the reasons we have to learn lessons the hard way is when we fail to follow instructions or advice from either elders or people who have better experience than us; sometimes we have that voice telling us that we know better, and we just go ahead with what we have in mind instead of considering their advice and not pushing through or pausing for a minute. .

Trust me, as much as you don't have to take every piece of advice and just go on with whatever you have in mind or planned out, there are times when you should consider what others think or what they have to say; there are times when the opinion of others really matters and counts and will save you from the disaster or losses that are coming. We all have experience where advice landed us in trouble, and at the same time, we have an experience where advice saved us from falling into trouble.

When I first started my crypto journey, I started with a friend. He did not know much either, but at least he knew better than me and was the engine house when it came to researching meme coins and confirming if they were a good buy or not. I have always followed his every piece of advice and every call when it comes to crypto because I believed he knew better. When I started gaining better understanding, I at some point started feeling like I had also gotten to his level and started doing what I felt was right and not always following his advice.

One time while I was researching a meme coin called Fries back then, I told him about it, and he said, "Don't invest in it. " I had my doubts because many mentors I was following on YouTube back then were talking about it and saying it was a good job. Why is he saying otherwise? I felt like people who owned YouTube channels knew better, and he was just scared. I borrowed some money from my school fee then and invested in fries, and as of then it was about $5 for one. I bought a few and paid the gas fee with the Binance Smart Chain Network (BNB), which was also quite high.

Two days later I opened my Trust Wallet, and there were sitting my froes, but there was no balance; it was a rug pull. In the end it was just hype to get people to buy. The debt I was in, with high hopes that when the price goes higher I can pay it back, was way too much, and now the plan to pay it back has been compromised, dragging me into more debt, confusion and chaos, and I almost dropped out of school that period. That is one piece of advice I regret ignoring to this date.
