Building Something New And The Difficulties That Come With That.
Hello, everyone.
I welcome you to my blog. One thing I have realised in life is that building something can be really difficult; no matter how small that thing might be, bringing it to stand and stand strong will stress you both mentally and emotionally and even physically and, in most cases, financially as well. It is even more difficult if what you are trying to build is something you are not familiar with; at that point, it feels like walking into the unknown without knowing what lies on the other end, with so many questions going through your mind, so many voices in your head trying to discourage you and telling you it will not work out; better to back out now rather than wait until you fail.
Transition actually requires an amount of focus the struggles and fights of life cannot allow us to give; sometimes no matter how hard we try, it even becomes harder to give transition the attention and focus that it needs to become a reality. Trust me when I say we all want transition; we all want to go from one level to another level, but at the same time not all of us are willing to make those sacrifices needed to go from one level to another level. At the same time we have those willing to make those sacrifices but just don't have the luxury of time to fit it into our schedules and try to see if it will work out or not.
I have been able to conclude a Figma course and started working on a project of my own to help build my portfolio, but then my offline activities and part-time jobs won't even permit me to have time for myself, let alone time for the project that I am working on. I have tried and tried to fit it into my schedule, but it keeps failing, as sometimes I get home from work and will have to prepare things that I will be going to work with the next day. The truth is that I want to move from working on-site to working remotely and from home, but before I move to that phase or transit to that phase, I have to make sure that I have something vetted at hand already.
Probably a brand I am working with already because quitting my onsite jobs without having any online jobs and also having a portfolio to present when asked is not a good way to go about this transition. My inability to build my portfolio is standing as a hindrance despite fighting all I can to fix it, and it has become nearly impossible to do so, but I am hoping I can do that soon and see if the transition that I hope for can become real.
