Hoy traigo una ensalada César muy casera.

Today, I'm bringing you a very homemade Caesar salad.

Hace unos días, organizando las recetas que tengo guardadas desde hace más de veinte años, me encontré con una rica ensalada César y dije: voy a hacerla para salir de la rutina.

A few days ago, while organizing recipes I've had saved for more than twenty years, I came across a delicious Caesar salad and thought: I'm going to make it to break out of the routine.

En esta preparación hice algunos cambios, como usar queso duro en vez de parmesano y pan grande en vez de pan de sándwich. De igual forma, esta es una rica ensalada César.

In this version, I made a few changes like using hard cheese instead of Parmesan and large bread instead of sandwich bread. Even so, this is a very tasty Caesar salad.
Pero igual, sigue siendo una comida muy fresca, ideal para cuando queremos comer rico, rápido y diferente, sin gastar mucho 😋.

It’s still a super fresh meal, perfect for those moments when we want to eat something delicious, quick, and different—without spending too much 😋.

• 400 g de lechuga. 🥬
• 100 g de queso blanco rallado. 🧀
• 2 panes franceses. 🥖

• 400 g lettuce 🥬
• 100 g shredded white cheese 🧀
• 2 French breads 🥖

• MAYONESA • 🥚🥛 • MAYONNAISE •

• 1 huevo. 🥚
• 1/2 taza de aceite. 🌻
• 1/2 cucharada de sal.🥄🧂
• 1 cucharadita de mostaza. 💛
• 3 dientes de ajo. 🧄
• El jugo de un limón. 🍋

• 1 egg 🥚
• 1/2 cup of oil 🌻
• 1/2 tablespoon of salt 🥄🧂
• 1 teaspoon of mustard 💛
• 3 garlic cloves 🧄
• Juice of one lemon 🍋

Corté el pan en ruedas y luego traté de hacer daditos.

I sliced the bread, then cut it into small cubes.

Los tosté en un sartén con un poquito de aceite, y los reservé.

I toasted them in a pan with a little oil and set them aside.

Para hacer la mayonesa, comencé añadiendo en el vaso de la licuadora el huevo, la mostaza, el jugo de limón, luego el aceite, y por último los ajos y la sal, que machaqué un poquito para hacer una pasta de ajo.

To prepare the mayo, I started by adding to the blender: the egg, mustard, lemon juice, then the oil, and finally the garlic and salt which I crushed a little to make a garlic paste.

Ya con todos los ingredientes en el vaso, los licué por unos minutos y listo mi aderezo César.

With all the ingredients in the blender, I mixed them for a few minutes, and finished my Caesar dressing was ready!

Continué lavando y desinfectando la lechuga.

I continued by washing and disinfecting the lettuce.

Una vez lista la lechuga, los crutones y el aderezo, en un envase amplio añadí la lechuga, una buena cantidad de aderezo y el queso.

Once the lettuce, croutons, and dressing were ready, I added the lettuce to a large bowl, poured in a good amount of dressing, and sprinkled in the cheese.

Lo mezclé hasta integrarlo, y por último le añadí los crutones de pan.

I mixed everything until well combined, and finally added the croutons.
