Fully committed to Hive

Because today I am powering up another 820 or so Hive. I have written previously about how I lost the joy of playing Splinterlands and thus started selling many of my assets. It was not a great financial decision because the price of all cards had decreased so much... at one point my beloved Byzantine Kitty was worth over US$850, look at what it is now - sad panda. But me being me, I wanted to have a clear cut and so I sold many, many of my cards for a 'good for the buyer' price, although for some it was still not low enough (yes, looking at you Hive account@mypathtofire) to buy - LOL. Oh, and if you're curious how I had so many cards to sell in the first place? I invested good ol' US dollars and bought Hive and DEC to buy the cards back in 2021/2022.

But it's all good. I feel like I am finally finding myself again with making my art and with blogging next to a busy work schedule. That feels good. Of course, not all days, but overall much better than I have been - fingers crossed.

And as far as Hive goes - I'll keep on blogging, maybe writing silly things and sharing my art here. Oh, and on that silly writing note, it still irks me that I used an AI generated picture in my previous post, so I am making it official here that I will not be doing that again. I honestly don't know why, well, I do - time - is why I did it but that shall not be an excuse: No further AI generated pictures her on my account. The writing has been mine all the time.

And here it is - this is my power up for Hive Power Up Day in October, 2024. From now on I'll be powering up once a week or two or whenever I have got a few Hive from my activities on here. No more waiting for HPUD. It is not worth it. Putting the Hive into your own stake so that your upvote is worth more is of much higher value to me.
