July 1st 2026 Hive Power-Up Day || Power-Up 58.725 HP || IAmAliveChallenge #285 || IAmAliveAndThriving New Month || 01.07.2026

How time flies, the year 2026 that start almost like yesterday is today starting the half of the year. So it's another 1st of the month again guys, 1st of July 2026.

What is unique about the 1st of July 2026 is the fact that it is the first month of the third quarter of the year 2026! Besides, every 1st of the month is the Hive Power-Up Day where we are to power up at least 10 hive to the Hive blockchain ecosystem and be awarded with a badge.

That not withstanding other great reasons to power-up Hive on the 1st of the month is as follows:

• Strengthen your influence on the blockchain with stronger votes on content, proposals and witnesses.
• Earn more curation rewards. The more Hive Power you have, the more you can potentially earn back
• Earn "interest" by holding Hive Power. You will also earn HIVE passively at about 3% per year of what you currently have powered up so the more HIVE you have, the more you can earn from just holding!

I am stepping up my Hive strength with 58.725 hive power. This of course is bringing me close to my Hive Power target for the year 2026.

I decided to power up 58.725 liquid hive in the wallet as seen below

Soon after the power up of 58.725 hive, my Hive Power increases to 3,594.139 HP. This new peak will help me to contribute towards improving my curation strength in the hive blockchain. Also brings me closer to my years target.

Looking forward to the next power up exercise with the intent of powering up more.

My target is to get pass 5,000 HP before the end of the year. I hope with more effort I will get over that as this new hive year progresses.
