Splinterlands Strategy Deep Dive: Leveraging the Rental Market to Secure Diamond League Status

It is a beautiful day in my town as I share this article with you my friends. Splinterlands has been rough, but I believe that most of my target this season has already been hit. I am in Diamond league and the rapid progress from Gold to Diamond II originated from the rental cards added to my collection. There are two issues that will affect how long I remain in Diamond the rental period set to end in a few days, then the capacity of the newly added warriors to outperform the last set of selection.

The strategy with Hanv double strikes has worked well in Gold to unlock the path to reach Diamond league. I do believe that it is not the perfect combination on the defense side. My line-up is too exposed and the selected warriors that perform the double strikes can be eliminated as early as the first round.

A:/ Diamond is my favorite spot now

As a veteran player in Splinterlands I spent a lot of time exploring the combination that can help me enter the Diamond league without consistent success. If you find yourself barely ranking out one league, the best advice I can give you is the rental market.
Of course, you do not just pick the most powerful warriors you find on the rental. It has to complement your strategy.
There is no waste of time when you fail to reach a new league. Players should consider each battle lost as lesson to build a better line up. I took some time to identify the weakness in my strategy. Hanv and Pathfinder addition to my line-up created the positive effect I was searching when I rent those two cards.

This major change in my strategy guarantee my selection in Diamond league of the Modern format each season. However, the main problem in my line up is on the defense side.

B:/ Staying in the competition for Survival game

I found myself in a dangerous situation in Survival format. The rules are clear when you lose a battle. The number of key warriors that sustain my strategy went out in lock mode due to the battle I lost during the competition.
I had to slow down and wait for the temperature to return to cooler mode. It was a wise move because I can play with the second choice of cards in my collection with better results in the arena.
It won't give me the ultimate result I was looking for but the occupation in the arena of survival mode keep me engage with the contestants.

I will have to choose from a large selection of warriors the best matches to solve my defense problem and maintain pressure on the offensive phase of the game.
My first choice base on my experience the past season with the rental cards will be the dragon warriors plus a neutral warrior. I am going to open the range of implication in my strategy to really appreciate the impact on Death line up or fire selection in the arena.

I have found great two choices for this part of the competition.

I could not wait any longer, so I made the transaction to witness the impact on the battlefield.

I will be so happy to see the double strike from Hanv boost an offensive attack from Gramel.

In the defensive side of the game I hope to see the bloodlust activation transform Zyrx into an unbeatable warrior in the arena.

I have found interesting to share with the community this battle in Wild format. The competition this week is only going to be stressful until the finale. In the arena you can learn amazing set up from your opponents. It is sometimes related to the ruleset but if you know how to tweak the ability combination you can find a great choice of complement warriors to rent.

Entry Surprise Victory

Baakjira, Possibilus and Deadblast are the heros in this lineup. I was not sure that it will work because Possibilus is perfect for melee intensive attack line up. The magic "Weapon training" attribution done on Baakjira transform this tanker into a real impenetrable fortress.

I would love to find in Modern format a combination that can make a heavy tanker turned into a massive offensive striker. If you have magnificent cards that I can get from the rental market to easy my journey in Diamond League please let me know in the comment section.
