Moroccan Spiced Chickpeas
Tacos are perfect for every night of the week. They are family friendly + fun and easy to make. These tacos can be made in only 15 minutes if chickpeas are made in advance.
These are so simple and easy to make, big bold flavors.
To capture the rich flavors of Morocco the chickpeas are tossed in Ras-el-hanout seasoning. If you are unable to find a seasoning mix, I like frontier coop, you can always make this blend yourself. Doing so you would mix...
1 1/2 teaspoons coriander seeds.
3/4 teaspoon cumin seeds.
1/2 teaspoon crushed chilli flakes.
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
1 teaspoon paprika.
1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom.
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger.
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric.
You'll need: serves 6
3 cups cooked chickpeas
Bundle of Cilantro micro greens (or cilantro)
1/2 cup Hemp Seeds
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon
Pink himalayan salt to taste
3 tbsp Ras el Hanout
In a cast iron skillet heat olive oil & toss in cooked chickpeas, and seasoning.
Cook until Chickpeas crisp. Squeeze fresh lemon juice & serve over your favorite tortillas with micro greens & hemp topping.
