Brezee Watermelon Drink
Enjoy a refreshing drink made from watermelon, perfect for hot weather with a complete serving you've never tried before.
This time, I tried making a refreshing drink that I had never tried before. Coincidentally, I had a fairly large watermelon at home, and I had planned to make a regular watermelon drink by simply mixing red syrup with watermelon. However, who would have thought that my husband would take the initiative to suggest the idea of turning the watermelon into a refreshing drink.
The non-alcoholic Breeze drink I make combines watermelon with soda, specifically Sprite. I also add Yakult milk, which has a distinctive sour taste resulting from fermentation. This homemade cocktail-style drink of mine is indeed inspired by the alcoholic Breeze drink, but I serve it in a lighter style so that my husband can enjoy it. He is a soda lover, and I think the idea to make this drink came from a friend he met while on vacation out of town some time ago. He told me that they served watermelon this way there, which gave him the idea to make this Breeze drink at home.
Ingredients
200 grams of watermelon
2 tablespoons of red syrup
1 bottle of Yakult
350 ml of Sprite
Procedure
Cut the watermelon into cubes or according to your preference.
Then put it in a glass and shake or crush the watermelon a little.
Add apple-flavored red syrup, then add Yakult and stir.
Finally, add the Sprite and stir everything until well combined.
Result
The watermelon breeze is ready to serve. Add freshness by adding ice cubes inside, then serve while cold on a hot summer day. This is guaranteed to be the best drink for you to relax with at that moment. Serve with light pastries—I think this will be absolutely perfect.
The sweet taste combines with the tangy Yakult and the tempting soda flavor. Well, this drink is enjoyed by my husband, as I don't particularly like soda drinks. He is a soda lover, and the idea for this drink came from him, so since we had watermelon, we made it now. And for the ice, we didn't add it because the electricity was out here, so the ice didn't freeze overnight. But look at the result—it's still delicious, and my husband loves it.
