Looking into the Education Sector and changing it.
Across the globe there are a lot of things that is not going the way, they are supposed to. Looking at how somethings are going you would feel that you have the power to make a difference and at some point you can't . But just imagine you are given the power to change anything that you feel it's not going the way it's supposed to. Which would it be ?
Now there are a lot and I will try to list a few.
First , education is the tool that any sensible society should embrace if they want to grow. Irrespective of how our society today makes education looks like it has no reasonable value, truly education is still the key. But looking at our society, and the world at large, millions of children , young adults who would have had the passion for education are still denied the opportunity to learn. Some are rural dwellers and in some of these areas there are no schools, while others cannot afford tuition fees, educational materials or qualified teachers to lead and guide them in the process. As a result of this, many talented individuals , those with passion and zeal for schooling never have the opportunity to be in school.
Furthermore, the level of stress that comes with schooling in countries like ours is annoying and not really encouraging at all. Even the least thing as signing a signature in a particular office comes with stress and some individuals might even choose to tax you. All these are not encouraging and makes people just develop cold feet in the aspect. But if I have the power to change something, I would have made education so accessible and free for all who wishes to go to school.
Now changing the world is not the duty of the government alone or an individual, it's a collective effort. We can all contribute our little quota in our own little way to support the education system. With our collective effort, we can contribute by supporting educational initiatives, mentoring young people who cares to listen, donating learning materials to our learning institutions no matter how little it is, it will always go a long way to assist, volunteering our time and carrying out simple task that will impact the sector, or simply encouraging someone to keep learning despite the challenges they face, because most people only need that push, that words of encouragement , that advice.
Looking at all these solution, I believe it's something we can start little by little to do, we might not get it all done in a day because Rome was not built in a day. But let's not all wait for that special power which might not come, let's just try and contribute our own little quota.
