Right now, I am in Almora district of the beautiful Indian state of Uttarakhand, where the winter season has just started to make its presence felt.

Far away, the snow-covered Himalayan peaks start glowing in soft golden and orange shades, as if someone has spread a golden tint over a pure white blanket.
