Going out to clear your head doesn't need to be a complicated ritual. A few days ago, I went with some friends to our usual bar. I happened to arrive first, and honestly, walking into that environment with relaxing music and the air conditioning running at full blast was the best part of the day. To start warming up the engines while waiting for the rest, I ordered a Polar Negra. A first cold drink as an appetizer.

Once the guys arrived, it was time to change the plan. We switched from the black beer to several rounds of Cerveza Zulia. It’s a much lighter option, which is exactly what you need when the plan is to spend hours sharing a few drinks and talking about life without saturating your palate on the second bottle. Not to mention the inability to walk in a straight line that Polar Negra causes you with supreme ease.

Without a doubt, beer makes conversations better. Well... with the exception of those drunken states where you can tell the conversation makes absolutely no sense. But on this occasion, it was (thanks God) a much more relaxed gathering.

Salir a despejar la mente no tiene por qué ser un ritual complicado. Hace poco fui con unos amigos a nuestro bar de siempre. Una vez que llegaron los panas, tocó cambiar el plan. Pasamos de la cerveza negra a varias rondas de Cerveza Zulia. Es una opción mucho más ligera, que es exactamente lo que necesitas cuando el plan es pasar horas compartiendo varias tandas y hablando de la vida sin saturar el paladar a la segunda botella. Ni que decir de la incapacidad de caminar en línea recta que te ocasiona la Polar Negra con suma facilidad.

Sin duda alguna, la cerveza hace que las conversaciones sean mejores. Bueno... a excepción de esas borracheras donde puedes notar que la conversación no tiene nada de sentido. Pero en esta oportunidad fue (a Dios gracias) un encuentro más relajado.
