It has been some time my apologies. Life, as we know, can turn on a dime, and what we want to see is that it turns in the right direction. I forgot to take pictures to document but here is the latest photo of what we have, the raised bed has multiple layers:

1. two layers of cardboard
2. layer two, dried leaves
   3.layer three, organic soil
3. layer four, horse manure
4. layer five, organic compost
