Hey guys! After getting back to Steemit I noticed that since joining in July of 2017 I still didn't have a profile picture... After thinking about a few different ideas I began wondering if I should refresh the whole blog. Definite yes.

I am very invested in sustainability and all things green. I like keeping plants, succulents especially, they are just the cutest! ...and a lot harder to kill than normal house plants... I figured that was important to focus on when rebranding.

Recently I have started experimenting with graphic design to expand my knowledge on different medias! My new cover photo is pretty basic, but I thought it captured the essence of my content.

My same banner as always will accompany my content! Thanks again to @helenoftroy for creating the perfect footer to complete my posts!

What's New This Week?

I'm a barista now! After starting college in a new city, I've gotten a new job. I recently accepted a position as a barista at a cafe that opened about a month ago. But it's not just any cafe. We are a non-profit cafe, based solely on the donations of our customers and community. I found this a strange concept before I started working, but I think it positively affects the culture and atmosphere of our space.

People don't abuse the suggested donation prices and really enjoy our current items. The favorites have been the softest chocolate cookies I have ever eaten, our home-made garden herb hummus as well as sweet iced teas. I can't wait to see what other menu items we add.
