The author is a key figure in the growing Christian Nationalist movement. It’s very common to hear Christian Nationalist adherents refer to the United States as a “gynocracy”. (I hope none of you were drinking soda when you read that. If you were, I apologize about your carpet and drapes ). When the Christian Nationalist folks wish to discredit a man and portray him as weak, he is labeled “female adjacent”. I’m neither exaggerating nor cherry picking. If you are ever in the mood to watch a Christian Nationalist adherent melt down, walk up to them and say the words “women pastors”.

If it makes you feel any better/worse, the author was until very recently the headmaster at a “Christian”school. (He was fired when his identity became public and it became embarrassing for the school)

It says terrible things about our society that the school only fired him when his deep misogyny became public. They already knew he is a devout kinist (I.e., racial purity as a religious edict), but that wasn’t embarrassing enough for them to distance themselves from him.
