Hello, from an Alaskan film crew!

Hello Steemit world! We’re happy to be a part of the community and would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are Nomad Cinematics. Wherever there is a story to tell, we’ll go with you. Our motto isn’t just a themed addition to the company name. It’s a promise. Our goal is to go wherever it takes to tell the stories that need told. Every story has a beginning, however, and ours begins in Alaska.

The past 5 years have been an absolute thrill for us in the Alaskan Film Community. The introduction of Moose: The Movie to the Kickstarter page was met with wild success. As was the Premiere and following months of theatre showings. Never, in our wildest dreams, could we have anticipated the warm welcome our first feature film received. We’ll dive deeper into Moose: The Movie another day. Right now, we are hard at work on our second successfully kickstarted feature film, “Sudsy Slim Rides Again”.

Sudsy (as I’ll call it from here on out) was another great example of how much love Alaska has for the arts. With more ambition came a higher kickstarter goal and the community delivered. And thus began our documentation of the making of Sudsy.

Our road to Sudsy was originally filmed to instruct the curious people on the inner workings of an Alaskan Film Crew and it has seemed to turn into something more. A revelation into a lifestyle that none of us can shake.
We’ll start you out with an intro video, awkwardly placed as the second vlog, because, well, vlogging was new to us. Logan, Andrew and I (Chappy) would like to thank you for letting us into the community and we look forward to getting to know each and every one of you as you get to know us.
