It is very useful when joining a new community to learn as much as possible its rules, opportunities, and projects that will be of interest to you.
I am a beginner here, so it is very useful to learn everything new as more as possible.

That's how I came across one of the interesting, fresh projects currently being built on Hive - SPK Network.

Knowing firsthand what challenges journalists face in their work, I saw that the authors of the project know what independent content authors need. And that is:

• decentralization of all processes, which allows the author to create freely and don`t be afraid of censorship;
• a platform that doesn`t have a CEO and thus shows that freedom of speech is important encourages authors to share their experiences and ideas;
• and a nice bonus is a reward for content creators - the rewards are distributed between the creator and the platform equally;
• and of course it is a community of like-minded people, which is definitely inspiring!

And what about the rules and capabilities of the platform?

The guide allows you to become acquainted:

• with the types of tokens offered by the platform and how they can be earned and used;
• memes, pictures, videos, and other materials - what opportunities do content creators have and what are the conditions of its storage;
• teamwork - which projects proposed by community members can be funded and how the winners will be selected;
• and much more - the document is large, there is definitely something to become acquainted;).

But here we can say for sure that the authors of the platform are very imaginative and creative people, good luck to them in implementing such a great project!
