Conditional reaccept of Facebook, cryptocurrency ads〜Facebook、仮想通貨広告を条件付きで再容認〜

In January, Facebook announced that it prohibits advertisements related to virtual currency because it is likely to promote fraud, and Google and Twitter follow up as well.

We continue to prohibit advertisements related to "ICO" methods, in which companies issue their own virtual currency and raise funds, and advertisements of "binary options" that invest in anticipating price movements in foreign exchange markets.

フェイスブックは２６日、インターネット上で取引される仮想通貨の広告を条件付きで再び認めると発表した。 仮想通貨の広告主はフェイスブックよる事前審査に合格する必要があるとしている。

フェイスブックは１月、詐欺行為を助長する恐れがあるとして、仮想通貨関連の広告を禁止すると発表、グーグルやツイッターも追随した。

企業が独自の仮想通貨を発行して資金調達する「ＩＣＯ」と呼ばれる手法に関する広告と、外国為替相場の値動きを予想して投資する「バイナリーオプション」の広告については引き続き禁止としている。

大手SNSの仮想通貨広告再容認に対して今後他の大手がどのような動きを見せるかに注視していきたい。
