The Fire Hydrant
While I was going for a hike at Goose Island near my house I came across this old fire hydrant that has seen better days. I figured it would be a good subject for a short photo series.
I played around with shutter speeds to capture the flow of water in different ways.
I also wanted to get some detailed shots of just how neglected this was.
There is someing almost organic about it now, almost as if nature has reclaimed it.
It has created its own little stream through the woods.
Thank you for checking out my post.
