Does Technology Make Life Easier or Harder?
Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're doing well. This topic has often been a reflection of mine. In fact, I took the IELTS with this theme. Is Technology Making Life Easier or More Difficult? Is Technology Making Life Easier or More Difficult? I have this perspective. I'll take a perspective from the pandemic.
Pandemic covid has changed everything in the world. We are forced to use technology because of a pandemic. Specifically, education has changed too. Online learning became important during the pandemic. We need laptops and the internet for connecting everyone during a pandemic.
The first time, online learning is difficult to adopt but people adapt during a pandemic. Today, everyone is accustomed to online learning. For example, a big university in the world like Cambridge University has opened online classes. Everyone can connect with the internet and laptops. For me, this is an opportunity after the pandemic.
We should connect with other people in the world without traveling and have a lot of money for attending those classes. The important thing is we need a scholarship for sponsoring those classes. Yes, online learning is cheaper than offline learning.
However, we should change offline learning. They are interactive with other people in the class, like after or before class. This is about social skills as a human. The important things are practice classes for science that shouldn’t change with online learning. Because we need laboratorium, practice and interaction during those classes.
Therefore, we have adapted in technology because that continues to emerge. But sometimes, we should just only use technology to connect with other people. We have to interact with humans, not just with laptops and the internet. As a result, we need technology and interact with humans.
