[Movie] My review on The Beekeeper (2024)

The bee keeper is a very interesting action movie released in the year 2024. The movie futures Jason Statham as Adam Clay who is the main character of the movie. In the beginning of the movie Adam is seen as a quite and lonely man whose job is to take care of bees and collect the honeys that was produced by the bees. But everything changes after his kind neighbor, Eloise Parker, becomes a victim of an online scam. The scammers steal all her money, including funds she was keeping for a charity. She becomes so heartbroken that she takes her own life. This sad event pushes Adam to go after the people responsible.

As I continued watching the movie I found out that Adam belongs to a secret group which are identified as the bee keepers. This group works in secret to stop dangerous people who use their power to hurt others. Adam had left that life behind, but after Eloise's death, he decides to return. He starts hunting the criminals one by one and destroys the scam network that has cheated many innocent people.

What I understood about this movie is that it talks about online scam which is now everywhere in the world. Many people, especially older people, lose their money because they trust fake emails, phone calls, or websites. The movie reminds us to be careful when using the internet and to help our parents and grandparents understand how online scams work. Even though the action is exaggerated, the message behind the story is very real.

Adam really played a very good role in this movie called the bee keepers most especially how he handled the case when someone was scammed. He does not talk too much, but his actions show that he wants justice. The fight scenes are exciting and well done. There are many action moments, including hand-to-hand fights, gun battles, and car chases. If you enjoy action movies, you will probably enjoy this one.

This movie also teaches the effect of indulging in scam and how some rich men who are scammers tried to escape from Adam. Adam discovers that the people behind the scam have powerful friends who protect them. This makes his mission even more difficult. It reminds us that money and power should never be used to take advantage of innocent people.

This movie has alot of actions in it. The movie denied me of sleep last night when I was watching it because is so much interesting. There are not many boring scenes because something exciting is always happening. The camera work, music, and special effects all help make the movie more enjoyable. The story is easy to follow, even though it includes secret organizations and government officials.

Even though the movie is not 100% perfect but Adam escaped so many hard situations so easily than I expected. Also, some of the side characters are not fully developed. But since this is an action movie, these things do not take away too much from the fun. At the end of the movie I learnt that onlin scam is not good and it have sent many people to their early death. If you like movies with action, revenge, and a meaningful message, I think The Beekeeper is worth watching.
