What You Didn't Work For Is a Gift

If somebody gives you money you did not work for, don’t call it small. Don't express your dissatisfaction over the money no matter how small you think it is. Remember, you didn't work for this money; you had no sleepless nights, no stress, no nothing, and all you owe the giver is genuine appreciation and if possible, a sincere, simple prayer to the giver; as simple as "God bless you" is enough. Yeah, you can do that.

Don’t say, “Is this all?” Oh my goodness, sometimes I wonder the kind of moral upbringing some of us received while growing up. Some experiences just baffle me, honestly.

Again, don't say, “The person could have done better," like, seriously? What happened to your two hands and legs that you can use to work and earn the kind of big money you wanted? What happened to your brain too? Why are you unleashing your level of ignorance carelessly?Are you the one who worked for the money? the answer is no, so use your head.

What many people call “small” is the result of someone’s labor, someone's sweat, someone's toiling, sacrifice, and kindness, and you call it small? God has mercy on you for real.

Instead, learn to say thank you; it's that simple and more pleasant. Just hide your ingratitude and be more responsible.

One of the signs of entitlement is when you start measuring gifts instead of appreciating them, yeah, and the feeling of entitlement is terrible and unhealthy.

Note: Nobody owes you their money; nobody owes you their help. Again,Nobody owes you their generosity. What you did not work for is a gift, not an entitlement. The very day my elder brother taught me about this, I had a shift in my mindset that persists to this day, and it hurts me seeing others doing that repeatedly.

If I didn't push myself to go and help this young guy, I wouldn't receive such an insult. Good enough, I have a space here to rant them out and be alright .
