A few days ago, I was chatting with my girlfriend on WhatsApp about a happening around my vicinity. As we kept analyzing the funny situation, she sent me a GIF that matched the situation perfectly, and both of us laughed out loud until we got satisfied.

At that moment, I forgot my worries at least for some time. I was soaked in hard laughter, and it felt so refreshing in my mind. It also felt as if we were seated down physically together, gisting as usual; it felt so real and exciting. No doubt, memes and GIFs are super exciting, especially when you use funny ones, and without them, the Internet will be so boring.

I am a chatter, especially on WhatsApp. I love to connect with my friends more through WhatsApp chats and sometimes voice calls, and trust me, a chat session cannot pass without so many emojis, GIFs, and memes, as the case may be. I have a friend who doesn't chat with all these GIFs and co., and she will never react to it if you send them to her. She is a very serious person, lol. This doesn't mean that I am not serious, but maybe the right word to use is that she is not flexible at all, always strict even in casual conversations, and that's why I no longer find chatting with her exciting. She is a boring chatter, and that's because she doesn't fancy all these memes even in a very funny situation.

Memes and GIFs have become part of our daily online interactions, and the best I can do for my nerves is embrace it and use it to calm my nerves through laughter whenever the opportunity presents itself. Life is not too hard after all; we have things to turn our mood right without being so rigid to using it.

As a mom too, I have used memes and GIFs I came across online to create fun moments with my kids, and that's more bonding. It feels good to laugh out loud sometimes and be alright. The world is too harsh already, so anything to relieve us of some stress and create soft moments is a great innovation, and at this point, permit me to say that technology will continue to be a blessing to this generation and will be more blessings if we are intentional in the usage.

Memes and gifs are such great vibes for our online communication; these are interesting additions to spice up our chatting lifestyle and interestingly, some memes don't only entertain us but also educate us as a family and as a society at large, and that's a win-win.

The other day, I came across a meme that was all about human financial habits, and that got me into powerful self-reflections, and that message sticks to my brain to this date.

So yeah, our word today without all these memes will be less engaging and boring, there is no situations that cannot be explained with gifs and memes, and it's so lively to see.

Overall, we should also learn to use it responsibly without causing a nuisance, just positive vibes only, and that way, you enjoy the party with music; otherwise, the use of the internet without memes and GIFs would be like a party without music to me, and that wouldn't be fun but will still function, because yes, they are not core areas of the internet.
