WHY CAN LOVE BE SO PAINFUL?

WHAT IS LOVE?
Love has different interpretations,some say:

• it is the most intense emotion a human can feel
• a natural affection towards someone/something
• strong desire for emotion with someone
• just like cold water,love quenches a thirsty soul
• just like oil to an engine,love lubricates a relationship
• just like salt to food love adds taste to a relationship
  Williams Shakespeare said love is blind and the lovers cannot see
  Aristotle also said love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.
  No one can live hapilly with isolation

WHY IS LOVE PAINFUL?
love itself is not painful, it is its growth that is,because some old situations are being left for new situations and it may not be easy to adapt to.
For instance,when there is a breakup,we feel hurt,our dreams has been crushed and most times we feel lost and lonely.

True love love actually should hurt. when I say hurt I don't mean obsessive or abusive relationships, the pain I'm referring to is the relationship that we grow with together,because we are all imperfect and must hurt one another,but that also has the power to make us grow stronger. The worst thing about love is that most part of it is in our imagination and the person might not turn out to our expectations.
There is nothing like a perfect love. Love is not always beautiful and cute,real love has its ups and downs.
It is okay to feel heart broken, but the true strength lies in picking yourself up and getting yourself together.
