Beach Paradise - Boracay Philippines

During the first week of December 2021, I travelled with my wife to this beautiful paradise called Boracay Island to celebrate our very first wedding anniversary. Located in the Visayan region here in the Philippines, it's known for its azure water and white powdery fine sand beach.

We spent our first day in the island, bare feet on the powdery white sand, relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view, cool breeze of fresh air and a stunning sunset.

On our second day, my wife enjoyed the cool island life, she got her hair braided by some of the island locals and I bought her an anklet which really suited her look.

We also visited a souvenir shop in a place called Bamboo Market in the island to buy some goodies.

After shopping some souvenir, we met this cool manong (Elder term for Filipinos) who offered us a backride trip on his motorcycle as we need to go back to the hotel we are staying. We were hesitant at first as there is neither helmet nor other safety gears to wear but we noticed that all motorcycle riders in the island don't use any, so we accepted the offer and yeah, our decision was right as we enjoyed the backride and manong's company. (Caveat: the video has some wind noise)

We walked at the beach and had a quick meal at Two Seasons restaurant. The folks from the hotel recommended trying their pizza and it was really good.

Our third day in the Island was finished with a beautiful view of the horizon.

During our last day at the island, I recorded a quick timelapse video of the beach while we enjoy ourselves swimming.

Overall, our celebration/vacation was a blast. Our stay in the island will be one of the highlights of our 2021

We will surely go back in the Island with our future children.
