Today Was The Day of Harvesting My Canola Crop.My Actifit Report Card: April 11 2025

Assalam o alaikum and Hello to my all dear friends and #actifit members!

By the grace of Allah, I am fine, I hope all my friends are also fine. A farmer who cultivates a crop and takes care of it like his own children throughout the season, keeps fulfilling the needs of the crop, and finally on the day of harvesting, Allah Almighty blesses the farmer with his crop and rewards him for his hard work. I am also a farmer by profession and I am very fond of farming. I have cultivated wheat and canola crops and vegetables, including onions and garlic. Today was also very important for me because today was the day of canola harvesting. I had cultivated the canola crop in mid-October. Today, by the grace of Allah, I harvested the canola crop. The yield of my canola crop was 800 maunds per acre.

I woke up early in the morning and was in contact with the labor team. I reached farm with brothers and nephews. A labor team who had harvested the canola crop 7 days ago had collected the canola crop in small piles at different places in the field. At around 4 pm, the tractor driver came with a thresher along with the same tractor. There were 4 laborers with him. They harvested the canola with the thresher. I cultivated the canola crop on 12 kanals. I watered this crop four times and sprayed it once with a fungicide. In addition, I applied 75 kg of DAP fertilizer and 50 kg of urea fertilizer. The cost of canola crop is very low and its yield is satisfactory. It is a very profitable crop for farmers. While harvesting canola, it became night. As soon as the harvesting was completed, I brought the canola on a loader rikshaw at home at around 9:30 pm. When I asked the middleman about the rate of canola, he quoted Rs. 6200 per maund. I will check the rate in the grain market in the morning and sell it. Today I was very tired, but after reaching home at night and having dinner, I also walked for a while.

الحمداللہ میں ٹھیک ھوں امید ھے میرے تمام دوست بھی خیر و عافیت سے ھوں گے۔کسان جو کہ فصل کاشت کر کے پورا سیزن فصل کا اپنے بچوں کی طرح خیال کرتا ھے فصل کی ضروریات کو پورا کرتا رہتا ھے اور آخرکار اس کو ہارویسٹنگ والے دن اللہ تعالٰی کسان کی فصل کی پیداوار میں برکت پیدا کر کے اس کو شوق سے کی گئ محنت کا بہترین صلہ دیتا ھے۔ میں بھی پیشہ کے لحاظ سے کسان ھوں اور مجھے کاشت کاری کا بہت شوق ھے۔ میں نے گندم اور کینولہ کی فصل اور سبزیوں میں پیاز اور لہسن کاشت کر رکھا ھے۔ آج کا دن میرے لیئے بھی بہت اہم تھا کیونکہ آج کینولہ کی ہارویسٹنگ کا دن تھا۔ میں نے کینولہ کی فصل اکتوبر کے وسط میں کاشت کی تھی۔ آج اللہ کا کرم ھوا میں نے کینولہ کی فصل ہارویسٹ کر لی۔ میری کینولہ کی فصل کی پیداوار فی ایکڑ 800 من ھوئ۔

میں صبح سویرے اٹھا تو لیبر سے رابطے میں تھا۔ ایک لیبر جس نے کینولہ کی فصل کی گزشتہ 07 دن پہلے سے کٹائ کر رکھی تھی انہوں نے کینولہ کی فصل کو کھیت مین مختلف جگہوں پر چھوٹے چھوٹے ڈھیر لگا کر اکٹھا کر رکھا تھا۔ تقریبا 4 بجے ٹریکٹر والا آ گیا اسی ٹریکٹر کے ساتھ تھریشر بھی تھی۔ اس کے ساتھ 04 مزدور بھی تھے۔ انہوں نے تھریشر سے کینولہ کی ہارویسٹنگ کی۔ میں نے کینولہ کی فصل 12 کنال پر کاشت کی۔ اس فصل کو چار پانی لگائے اور ایک مرتبہ سنڈی مار سپرے بھی کیا تھا اس کے علاوہ 75 کلوگرام ڈی ایے پی کھاد اور 50 کلو یوریا کھاد بھی ڈالی تھی۔ کینولہ کی فصل کا خرچہ بہت کم ھوتا ھے اور اسکی پیداوار تسلی بخش ھوتی ھے یہ کسانوں کیلئے بہت ہی منافع بخش فصل ھے۔ کینولہ ہارویسٹ کرتے کرتے رات کا وقت ھو گیا۔
جیسے ہی ہارویسٹنگ مکمل ھوئ تو تقریبا رات 0930 بجے میں لوڈر رکشہ پر کینولہ گھر لے آیا۔ آڑھتی سے کینولہ کا ریٹ پوچھا تو اس نے فی من 6200 روپے قیمت بتائ۔ صبح اناج منڈی میں ریٹ چیک کر کے فروخت کر دوں گا۔ آج میں بہت زیادہ تھکا ھوا تھا پھر بھی رات کو گھر پہنچ کر کھانا کھاتے ہی میں تھوڑی دیر واک بھی کی۔
