Nhamte?! Nem Chau... Springrolls time!
My dinner yesterday! Freshy, healthy and very delicious!
I made some springrolls. Khmer people call it Nem Chau. But it's actually a Vietnamese dish. They call it Banh Cuon.
No need a lot of time to put this dish on table for dinner :)
Here is a description for what you need:
- rice paper (you can find this at any asian store)
- rice vermicelli (Banh Hoi, also at any asian store)
- salad
- cucumber
- young sprouts
- mint
- coriander
- thai basilicum
- carrots (optional)
- shrimps
- pork meat (you can use chicken of you don't like pork)
- grilled fish (optional)
- crapmeat (optional)
Most important: the dipping sauce!
FISHSAUCE (next time i will give you my fishsauce recipe, because i have to figure out how much i use of things to make the fishsauce. I always make it by feelings 😅)
You can find a lot of video recipe on youtube!
Search by the name Banh Cuon :)
And maybe some day i will post my on video!
Enjoy!
