Today, I’m going to share a Splinterlands battle with you. For this match, my strategy was to select cards with melee attack power; specifically, I chose some of the most special melee units from my collection. I’ll walk you through the battle and talk about the melee cards I used—cards that happen to be personal favorites of mine. While I usually rely on magic attacks, you can certainly win battles effectively using melee attacks, provided you have excellent cards that help you strike the enemy hard. Melee cards pack a punch, and if you choose high-attack cards, you can secure a victory much faster.

Today, I selected my best cards for the battle. I’ll explain how these cards performed during the match. Some melee attack monsters possess the "Opportunity" ability—a feature I really like because it allows us to target and damage the enemy monster with the lowest health, leading to a quick elimination; this ensures that the low-health monster doesn't even get a chance to attack. To explain in detail: a monster with the Opportunity ability targets the enemy monster with the lowest health when attacking, regardless of whether it is positioned in the front line or the back line. I included two such cards in my team, and the resulting battle was truly spectacular. I’ll tell you about the key cards featured in this match.

The card I want to tell you about is called 'Parasitic Growth'. I own this card at Level 4. It has 2 Melee Attack power and, as I mentioned, possesses the 'Opportunity' ability, which allows us to attack the enemy team's card with the lowest health. Now, let me explain the benefits of this card. It currently has a mana cost of 4, and I use it in both low-mana and high-mana battles. At Level 6, the card gains the 'Scavenger' ability, and at Level 10, its Melee Attack power increases to 3, making it very powerful. Furthermore, if you use the Level 6 version and place it in the last position, its health increases significantly, giving you a better chance of winning the battle. I hope you enjoyed this battle.
