My Actifit Report Card: June 12 2026

New technology can be a pain. My solar and battery system stopped working after they ran an update in the software. It should have been a simple restart on the app on my phone to get it going again but after multiple tries, I was on the phone to the installer, he had remote reset for my system as well. I even tried powering down everything, but still no luck. While the installer was on the phone to tech support, I installed a comms cable so we could plug in directly to my home internet instead of relying on WiFi connection. The WiFi was not the problem, and a replacement invertor has been ordered under warranty. It was good they got onto it straight away but still a pain to have it fail after only a month of operation.
