Good choices of exchanges??

As a newcomer of cryptocurrency and trying to get my foot into the water I started with coinbase and that is pretty basic and its a mobile application as well so it was perfect! Well now I wanted to try something different and have more choices.
I was informed about binance and bittrex but I do know I could go through market cap site and select my exchanges based on where my coin can be found located. But I want to hear people suggestions on why they chose the exchanges they use any info is always helpful 🤗
