Grateful means showing gratitude, in line with the song I chose, “You I Live for” by Moses Bliss. According to my own understanding, the song is a reference to God; in the Bible,

it says in John 1 vs. 1, “In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, and the word is God."

It takes a strong heart to ignore what people have to say and stand firm on God’s word. We live in a world full of voices, everyone with his or her own opinion. The establishment of God’s word serves as a guide, which is very important. The true essence of gratitude is a steadfast commitment to God’s word and not the approval of others.

Gratitude is more than an emotion; it should be a way of life found in the establishment of God’s word. It is a conscious decision to be grateful for the timeless truths that have persisted throughout the ages. The scriptures serve as a timeless road map, guiding hearts through the maze of life's difficulties.
