NIGHT WITHOUT PEACE

	Greetings Spooky Zone community and welcome my friends to this new post. I know, I've been inactive for a while in terms of content and I apologize for that. I've been having a lot of difficulties that have complicated the work, but I'm here to make it up to you.

On Christmas night, after enjoying the delicacy and drinking champagne in the company of my loved ones, I was drowsy and satisfied to be surrounded by the luxuries that any man would envy to death.

I feel very fortunate, I am a businessman and I have built a millionaire empire with blood, sweat and tears of my subordinates, at this time of the year I delight in my exploits and marginalize those who can not pay the demands, today in my mansion I had a party to celebrate Christmas Eve and now when I sleep I hope for an even more pleasant tomorrow...

Hours later, at 3:33 Am I wake up in the middle of the night, in my bedroom I had fallen asleep from exhaustion, but a creepy laughter echoed as I had my eyes closed. “Jojojojo” could be heard behind me, as I roll over and get out of bed, I realize there is nothing there.

Everything became dark and sinister, the mansion was brimming with Christmas energy, but not even the light of a candle is distinguishable, the night dominated everything, as if I had been dragged into darkness.

I tried to turn on the light, but no brightness illuminated my room. I was overcome with terror, but I wanted an explanation, if a prankster had sneaked into my mansion, I have every right to teach him a good lesson.

—Who is there?

I moved in the middle of the darkness using my reason to diminish the terror, when I open the door I don't see a soul in the corridor, but that laughter is heard in the distance.

—Whoever you are, I'm going to catch you!

I walk in search of it, but no matter how hard I chase the sound, it moves like lightning everywhere, like a spirit that only wants to fill my patience. I am lost and blind in the dark, my luxuries do not allow me to see who roams my domain.

—Stop hiding, come out of there, Coward!

Even if I shout at nothing, nobody answers me, I can't see him, but I hear his laughter and his steps... He's close to me, I feel his presence... He's in front of me...

—Who are you?

My courage left me when I heard that raspy voice...

That voice... It didn't come from a human being...

The lights in my living room suddenly went on and I was all alone....

After that experience, I could not sleep in peace... Those words caused me an anxiety that all my riches could not take away, I was disturbed, disconsolate, restless and helpless fearing the worst as I wondered what would become of me the next time I went to sleep.
