WHEN GOD SAY'S "WAIT"
One of the hardest things for me as a Christian is learning how to wait on God's timing.
We live in a world where everything seems to happen instantly. We can send messages in seconds, order things online and receive them quickly, and find answers to questions with just a few clicks. Because of this, waiting can feel frustrating.
There have been times in my life when I prayed earnestly for something and expected an immediate answer. I prayed for opportunities, solutions to problems, and breakthroughs in areas where I felt stuck. Yet instead of receiving an instant answer, I was met with silence.
At first, I thought God was ignoring my prayers.
I wondered if I was doing something wrong or if He had forgotten about me. The waiting period felt uncomfortable because I wanted clarity and direction.
However, as time passed, I began to realize something important.
God's delays are not always God's denials.
Sometimes God asks us to wait because He is preparing us for what we are praying for. Other times, He is protecting us from things we cannot yet see. What appears to be a delay may actually be an act of love and wisdom.
Looking back, I can see situations where I desperately wanted something, but if I had received it immediately, I would not have been ready for it. The waiting season taught me patience, faith, and trust.
Isaiah 40:31 says:
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
This verse reminds me that waiting is not wasted time. God often uses waiting seasons to strengthen our faith and draw us closer to Him.
Today, whenever I face uncertainty, I try to remember that God's timing is perfect. Even when I cannot understand what He is doing, I can trust that He is working behind the scenes.
If you are currently waiting for an answer to a prayer, do not lose hope. Continue praying, continue trusting, and continue believing.
The God who hears your prayers is also the God who knows the perfect time to answer them.
Sometimes the greatest blessings come after the longest periods of waiting.
Thank you for reading.
May God bless you abundantly.
