THE FAITH THAT GROWS IN THE WAITING

One thing I have come to understand as a Christian is that faith is not only about believing God when everything is going well. Real faith is revealed during the waiting season.

It is easy to praise God when prayers are answered quickly. It is easy to testify when doors are opening and everything seems to be falling into place. But what about those moments when heaven seems quiet? What about the days when you have prayed repeatedly, yet nothing appears to be changing?

Those are the moments that truly test our faith.

I remember reading about Abraham in the Bible. God promised him that he would become the father of many nations, yet the promise did not happen overnight. Years passed before he finally saw God's word fulfilled. During that waiting period, Abraham had every reason to doubt, but God remained faithful.

Sometimes we want God to move according to our timetable, but His plans are always greater than our expectations. While we are waiting, He is shaping our character, strengthening our trust, and preparing us for what lies ahead.

Isaiah 40:31 says, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles..." This verse reminds me that waiting is not a punishment. It is often a season of preparation.

If you are currently waiting for a breakthrough, a job, healing, admission, or an answer to your prayers, don't give up. Continue seeking God, continue trusting Him, and continue walking in obedience. His silence does not mean His absence.

Looking back at my own life, I have realized that some of God's greatest blessings came after seasons of waiting. At the time, I didn't understand why things were taking so long, but later I saw that His timing was perfect.

May we never lose our faith because of delay. Instead, may we grow stronger, knowing that God is always working, even when we cannot see it.
